Volunteering at Michigan’s Heritage Park
Additional volunteer opportunities are available at Michigan’s Heritage Park in Whitehall. We are currently recruiting both Youth and Adult Volunteers to work in the park to assist our interpretive staff at the historic sites and to serve as counselors for our summer Youth Camp.
Volunteering at Michigan’s Heritage Park is a great way to explore Michigan’s history while also gaining hands on experience. Volunteers help our staff with a plethora of different activities ranging from interpreting at a historic site to making corn husk dolls alongside visitors. They interact with guests of all ages and backgrounds and have the opportunity to research and explore the past in a fun, exciting way and even get the chance to wrangle chickens on occasion!
