“Sojourners and the Single Girl” at Heritage Park

March 12, 2018 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Join us as we welcome local historian Marjorie Viveen. She will be sharing a presentation about West Michigan fur trader, Rix Robinson, and his fur trade crew of 1830. The license he secured for his trading granted him rights on the “Grand River and Vicinity” and he employed one woman and 21 men at posts scattered from Little Travers Bay to St. Joseph. This event takes a close look at one of our local fur trading outfits and promises to be very informative.  Register via PayPal below or call 231-894-0342 to reserve your spot today.

The cost is $6 for members and $8 for non-member.  Sign up for all three sessions of the series at once for $15 for Members $21 non-members. Coffee, tea, and water provided.
